Main Methods

Sort + Support

This method of organizing is the total package. With this option I will be there with you every step of the way. I will help and guide you with assessing, sorting, purging and placement.

I also purchase the correct size and number of containers so that you have no worries about “getting it right”. Additionally, I take care of any donations created in the declutter process.

Strategy +
Check In’s

This is the best option if you already know exactly what you want to do but you aren’t sure of the strategy. That is where I come in. I provide you with a play by play for efficiency and advise the best solutions.

I am available for scheduled check in’s where we go over any questions you may have and provide aid in the final details.

Hybrid Package

With larger projects a bit of both methods may be the best style in order to get things done quickly. The Hybrid Package allows for assistance during parts of the process but also allows you to tackle specific tasks between visits. This is a very efficient method and keeps the ball rolling without experiencing overwhelm.

From a single drawer to closets, kitchen, office + more.

The Process

Consultation

Every single person has different needs when it comes to organizing a space. The consultation allows us to hone in on your goals, habits, and timeline. This also allows us to find what approach is best for you.

Some specifics to consider before your consultation:

  • What space you want to start with.
Not sure what area to start? Ask yourself what future organized area would have the most impact on your day? The answer is where we will begin.
  • What habits you may have that make it difficult to keep a space organized.
We all have messy tendencies but with different personalities those tendencies can vary greatly. To be the most customized throughout this process, we will look at these habits and decide what solutions you need for future organization success.
  • What your desired time frame is.
You may be moving and have less time to devote to a full house declutter. You may have family visiting and need to get the lost guest room in order quickly. You may be in it for the long haul duration of the process. Consider what if any time frame you have in mind.

Assessment

During this part of the process we will look at the spaces to determine what is needed. We also look for storage clogs which might be causing clutter to build. Storage clogs can looks like a closet or a piece of furniture that could be better utilized.

Jumping In

We will work together to empty and organize the problem area. This is the messy part. We will work efficiently to group and sort all items to ensure a successful outcome.

Purge

This is the part that many people find difficult, get stuck or feel stressed. That is why I am here! We figure out what to keep and what to donate.

Placement

Many clients enjoy this phase. This is the satisfying part. We find the perfect type, size and number of containers; if they are needed. We place all remaining items into their forever home. Each belonging will be in the best spot for ease of use and functionality of storage so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor for years to come.

A Bit About My Experience

With over a dozen years of professional organization experience, I have helped people with many different needs and motivations. I assisted people after an inheritance created an influx of belongings that needed to be sorted and donated. I have organized hobby rooms, craft rooms, art studios, home offices, closets and kitchens. Knowing the difference between the need for storage containers, drawers, shelves or baskets is a very important detail that I take into careful consideration so that nothing unnecessary is purchased. It is good for everything to have “its” place but I look deeper into the process to find the perfect location for all items involved. The goal is always to leave a customer with a clean, fresh start and a system that is easily maintainable.
